Tongue-Twister- Eda Gecikmez
This performance refers to the 1985 film of the same title by Merlyn Solakhan (Merlin Ecer). The film, shown at the 15th !f Istanbul Independent Film Festival for the first time after 30 years, consists of dialogues between friends in the uncanny atmosphere prevalent in the whole city and its people right after the military coup. This performance reveals through newspapers a tongue-twister that has been passed on through years with the same affection, creating a connection to a film that has stayed contemporary.
